YOTA and Samsung Accelerate Nationwide Mobile River WiMAX Deployment in Russia

Yota, the Soviet Union-based Mobile River WiMAX service provider, today announced an additional contract with Samsung to documentation plans for a nationwide Mobile River WiMAX network in Russia. Under the new contract bridge, Samsung volition supply more than 5,000 Mobile River WiMAX macro instruction cellular base stations and Access Control Routers (ACR) to Yota from Mar 2010. Yota plans to expand its Russian Mobile WiMAX network this year to 15 cities including Sochi, which will server the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

Yota currently provides commercial message Mobile River WiMAX services to more than 300,000 subscribers across three cities in Russia –- capital of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg Campaign and Ufa. Yota has also started delivering Mobile WiMAX overhaul to more than 50,000 subscribers in Kransnodar and Sochi. Yota has added more than 3,000 new subscribers per twenty-four hours and plans to expand Mobile WiMAX reporting to 180 cities in Russia.

In summation to the enlargement of reporting in Soviet Union, Yota is also actively extending its Mobile WiMAX services with Samsung in other markets around the Earth. Yota launched a trial service in Nicaragua shoemaker’s last December and is preparing to launch in Belarus in the second base stern of 2010. In January Yota was also awarded Mobile WiMAX bandwidth spectrum use for nationwide net services in Republic of Peru. Yota is aiming to provide Mobile River WiMAX service across the worldly concern including Latin USA, the CIS, Asia and Africa.
