Visage Mobile raises $4.5 million in Series B round from Qualcomm and others

Qualcomm (NSDQ: QCOM) Ventures is investment in the enterprise mobility direction company – Visage Mobile. The troupe has raised $4.5 million in Series B round, which also power saw Worldview Technology Partners, ATA Ventures, Vesbridge Partners, and Emergence Capital Partners participating. With this daily round, the Visage Mobile’s total funding is approach $century meg. They said the new money will be used for further merchandise exploitation.
Visage Mobile’s SaaS allows businesses to control all wireless devices and associated costs within the troupe. It helps establishing policies to govern employees’ usage of mobile phone and broadband services.
According to marketplace research firms, there are currently 20 meg corporate-liable smartphones in use in the United States, representing XIII incursion of the total U.S. work force. By 2012, this incursion pace is expected to step-up to 20%, led by IT’s adoption of mobility direction tools to assistance manage monetary value and complexity.
