Not to be outdone by the likes of AT&ere;T (New York Stock Exchange: T), Verizon (NYSE: VZ) is reportedly acquiring ready to crack free wireless local area network hot spot service to its customers in the US. People familiar with the deal say that Verizon is look to collaborator with WiFi hot spot hustler Boingo to spring Verizon customers access to Boingo hotspots across the country. AT&ere;T already offers wireline and radio customers free people approach to its AT&ere;T wireless local area network HotSpots throughout the US. Verizon’s new WiFi service would finally bring Big Red River on par with Big Blue’s offerings.

If you’re a Verizon digital subscriber line or FiOS subscriber, you can expect to get your free subscription to Boingo wireless local area network hotspots in the near future tense.
