UK: Orange partnering with Blyk for Mobile River Ads
Reuters is reporting that Orange is going to collaborator with Blyk in the UK to offer Mobile Ads on a much larger scale.
Interestingly, this means that Blyk volition wind down feather it’s own MVNO-character offering – instead leading to the development of some special tariffs on the Orange River network for those volition to receive lots (relatively speaking) of Ads.
Another interesting point is that the approx 200k Blyk subs (they call option them members) will not automatically go over to Orange – instead they’ll be able interface off wherever they wish (and I think as should be the lawsuit, to be carnival).
For those of you rich person either been following Blyk, and/or remember older news, Blyk were originally pioneering a largely free subscription for their subs – and were expanding in to quite a figure of countries using their MVNO modelling – it seems that now they volition be acting more like a traditional Mobile River Ads company, albeit with the plate and reason that comes with having previously tally Mobile Network elements.
