Telenor goes big on mobile broadband modems with Huawei…
Huawei has announced that it recently has signed a Global Master Agreement with Telenor Group to supply Mobile Broadband Modems.
Under the agreement, Huawei volition involve to deliver 1.2 meg Mobile Broadband Modems in the coming 12 months for Telenor’s 13 operating companies in European Community, Commonwealth of Independent States and Asia, including Kingdom of Norway, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Denmark, Hungary, Serbia, Crna Gora, USSR, Ukraine, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Thailand and Malaya.
According to the reputation from consulting firm ABI Research, Huawei secured a substantial 55% of the global mobile broadband terminus market. By the oddment of February 2009, Huawei had shipped over 30 million mobile broadband units, service 235 operators in 115 countries and providing them with customization solutions that match contributor requirements.
