iPhone SDK 3.1 goes beta 3

Two weeks after the previous liberation, Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) has made a new beta of the iPhone SDK 3.1 available. Details are scarce at the consequence, but we’re hearing video recording APIs are included with the update, allowing for cut and spread of small videos. Moreover, more augmented world “enablers” were to be found in the package, as well.

Palm Launches Open Source Portal for webOS Developers

Good newsworthiness for webOS developers this good morning. Palm (NSDQ: PALM) has gone ahead and launched an Open Source portal for developers. The new portal is pretty staple, but contains links to surface seed packages (components used in webOS 1.0.1), the permission information, and tangency information if you run into any speed bumps.
