Survey: iPhone leads Android in client atonement
Smartphones are becoming the average in the mobile quad. Thanks to the iPhone, consumers are now more aware of smartphones and their capabilities than ever before. And, according to a new study from CFI Group, the smartphone that sparked the stream smartphone microphone boom is distillery tops in consumers’ minds. The survey gives the iPhone a mark of 83 (out of century) in customer satisfaction. The webOS-powered Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Pre and Android-powered smartphones tied for second base-place with a client atonement mark of 77 points. Smartphones running the Windows Mobile River or Symbian operating systems ar lumped together with a shoemaker’s last-place score of 66.
But, the upsurge in smartphone borrowing isn’t without its own drawbacks. Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s always satisfying iPhone has been something of a bane for AT&T (NYSE: T)’s 3G meshing. With droves of iPhone users hammering away at the radio meshing, AT&T has been having a tough meter retention up with requirement. The scoop US iPhone attack aircraft carrier scored the lowest in customer satisfaction ratings – 69 and 66 in client atonement and likelihood of recommending the attack aircraft carrier to others, respectively. T-Mobile River (NYSE: DT) (79/76) and Verizon (New York Stock Exchange: VZ) Wireless (70/77) were virtually tied as the most satisfying wireless carrier in the US. Especially with the Android-powered myTouch3G and Motorola CLIQ boosting its smartphone portfolio.
For what it’s worth, there’s a draw of poise sundry happening in Android exploitation circles. With a little more time to mature, Android devices like the HTC Heron and Motorola Sholes could finally give the iPhone understanding to sweat.
