Shazam Encore Music ID Comes to BlackBerry
Shazam has been identifying, grabbing lyrics for, and allowing purchases of songs on BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) since last spring, with Storm rapport arriving a little act later in the summer. Since then, a new variant came around to iPhone (and now BlackBerry) called Shazam Encore, which hosted faster strain lookup, recommendations, and optimizations for song ID piece in the cable car, so it tin pick up tunes on the wireless more efficiently. Of course, just to push the free users towards this new bounty variant, the master app is now limited to only five strain IDs (tags) per calendar month, piece Encore gets as many as you want. D’oh. There aren’t many alternatives for this kind of software system for BlackBerry, but I really promise Midomi makes the interface at some distributor point. If you’re big on music, you tin nab Shazam Encore for $4.99 in the BlackBerry App World, or hit up Shazam’s homepage for a closer looking.
