Palm takes on former Apple creative psyche as SVP

Palm (NSDQ: PALM) has a new Senior Vice President of the United States of Brand Design. Meet Jeff Zwerner, a deuce-meter Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) employee tasked with helping form Apple’s designing esthetic. As part of Palm’s push to proceeds on the likes of Apple and the iPhone, Zwerner brings his experience as Senior Art Director and Creative Director for Packaging to Palm’s table.

The Palm Pre-maker has been on a hiring stint recently, scooping up former Apple employees to stock its technology and executive ranks. As Palm continues to redefine itself as a hip and Bodoni font smartphone manufacturer, we’ll probably see more formare Apple hires at Palm. Zwerner should daily round out Palm’s new natural endowment-parcel, helping to template the Palm brand through new amniotic fluid charted by the sleek and desirable Palm Pre.
