Official HTC Hero Android 2.1 update coming in mid-March
Good news for the HTC Hero owners. The Taiwan-based French telephone manufacturing business is workings on the new ROM for the device that volition include the latest (and greatest) variation of Android OS (2.1). According to HTC’s Benelux team, the Hero users will be blessed with the update at some point in mid-Mar, when they’ll be able to say to their Nexus-ownin’ buddies “this is distillery my Hero.” Or not… whatever…
Anyway, in addition to Android 2.1, the update volition also include Quaker Stream widget that helps users hold up with their buddies on mixer networks (Facebook and Twitter), as fountainhead as improved Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) Exchange documentation.
Now I’m guess that following the updated microcode for the unlocked Hero, carrier-specific read-only memory versions volition be released shortly afterwards…
