Motorola A1200R is A1200 MING with widgets for genus Argentina
Similarly to what they did for China, Motorola (NYSE: MOT) is resurrecting its A1200 aka MING all-touchscreen French telephone for Argentina, and we guess other Latin American markets. The magic trick, however, is in the small upgrades that now sees the MING support widgets for weather condition, latest news, and so on. Moreover, the updated version called A1200R also comes with Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) Office lector and business card electronic scanner apps, and FM radio. Rest of the spectacles ar identical to the original MING and include QVGA touchscreen and 2 megapixel camera. Larger, 1GB computer memory circuit board is now included in the retail box.
Finally, our Argentinian readers may care to know about the pricing. We can’t tell you that as we haven’t heard anything on that. Availability is also unknown quantity information at this stage, but considering Motorola already rich person what it takes to green goods this sort of gimmick, I guess the launch appointment is around the corner…
