LG SU420 Cafe Phone, the world’s first DMB 2.0 earphone, launched in southland Korean Peninsula

LG is out with a new device for its domestic market – LG SU420 aka Cafe Phone. Like many of the Korean high gear-remainder phones, this one also comes with a mobile TV receiving system. But there’s a taking into custody – the Cafe Phone supports the DMB 2.0 standard, which not only allows observation of TV while on the go, but also makes the experience interactive!

DMB 2.0 combines broadcasting with Net connection, enabling users to access relevant information piece watching some TV appearance. For instance, owners of DMB 2.0-enabled devices ar able to shop class stuff they see on TV, check for stock updates, weather selective information and so on — all piece observation related content.

Specs wise, the LG SU420 rocks a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen, 3-megapixel photographic camera (coupled with front-facing camera for video recording calls), HSPA and wireless local area network connectivity, Global Positioning System, 3.5mm headset jackass, 1250 mAh battery and a microSD memory card one-armed bandit.

SK Telecom (New York Stock Exchange: SKM) is offering the gimmick, though unfortunately we don’t know the price. Likewise, we’ve no idea whether the Cafe Phone will ever farewell the shores of Korean peninsula…
