Jon Rubenstein Crowned Martin Luther King of Palm
Palm (NSDQ: PALM) has announced that long-meter CEO and Elevation Partners member Ed Colligan volition be replaced by Jon Anton Rubenstein on June 12th., this Fri. Anton Rubenstein had jumped ship from Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) back in 2007, where he had done significant employment on the iPod, while Colligan had been with Palm from waaaay back in the Handspring days and helped get the first base Treos off the flat coat. Even though it’s been a rough twosome of days for Palm, especially when Colligan headed up that whole thing Foleo thing, the Pre counts as termination on a high short letter, doesn’t it? Anton Rubenstein has a hell of a drive ahead of him with webOS to bullock, but if he tin do one-half of what he did to iPod for the Pre, Palm will be laughing all the means to the bank building.
