Apple launches AppStore Resource Center, waterfall on its face

iPhone developers the world over have been up in coat of arms recently over Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s handling of iPhone diligence submissions and approvals for the AppStore. Apple has been criticized for retention their AppStore certification process as transparent as ember and basically giving some iPhone developers the cold berm. So, in an attempt to right field its AppStore wrongs, Apple has just launched their AppStore Resource Center to try and guide devs through the procedure of getting their iPhone apps approved. Unfortunately, the relocation has done little more than to further frustrate iPhone devs.

According to ArsTechnica, iPhone devs have voiced their disapproval of Apple’s new AppStore Resource Center. One developer called out Apple for not really doing anything to aid devs. The supposed help centre is apparently nonentity more than “a collecting of documents that were already out there, just condensed into 1 position.” In its current form, the Resource Center is all but useless. What the iPhone dev community needs, according to another developer, is a clearly defined tilt of criteria for iPhone app authentication. Instead, Apple put option a bandage on a one-half-hearted attack to get in good with devs, and that’s just not acceptable.

The estimate behind the AppStore Resource Center is auditory sensation. iPhone developers could manipulation an online resourcefulness that clearly defines guidelines for AppStore blessing as well as a community where questions tin be answered. It’s just too bad Apple let their loose ends trip them up. Public face-plants tin be embarrassing.
