Amazon River.com acquires Lexcycle, manufacturer of the Stanza iPhone ebook app
In an effort to strengthen its position in the ebook marketplace, Amazon.com acquired Lexcycle, the troupe behind the popular iPhone ebook diligence Stanza.
Those not familiar should know Stanza is probably the one most used ebook meter reading app on the iPhone and iPod Touch, allowing users to download more than 100,000 books and periodicals to their shiny devices. The diligence is available as a free download through the AppStore.
Lexcycle was founded in early 2008 and has offices in both Austin, Lone-Star State and Portland, Oregon. Financial price of the trade were not disclosed…
